Nearly every one of these professionals played for UCLA. And now they’re giving back.

Fatima Fernandez Cano
Fatima is a rookie this year on the LPGA tour. She was born and raised in Spain, where she had a distinguished junior career. Fatima played college golf here in the US at Troy University where she graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in business. She is arguably the best player in Troy University history and, as a junior, was recognized as the player of the year in the Sun Belt conference.
She played on the Epson tour starting in 2018 where she is a two-time winner. In 2021, she finished second in the Race for the Card, this time behind Bruin, Lilia Vu to earn LPGA Tour membership for the 2022 season. Learn more.

Brianna Do
Brianna was a two-time AJGA All-American selection and a member of the 2007 Junior Solheim Cup Team. She played college golf at UCLA and garnered Second Team All-Pac 10 honors in 2010 and an Honorable Mention in 2012. She was the winner of the 2011 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links. Brianna played in eight events in her rookie year on the Epson Tour in 2012 and recorded a career-best T8 at the Four Winds Invitational. Learn more.

Tiffany Joh
A four-time All-American at UCLA, Tiffany was inducted into the Bruins’ Athletics Hall of Fame. She played on the victorious 2008 U.S. Curtis Cup team and won the U.S Women’s Amateur Public Links title in 2006 and 2008. Upon turning pro in 2009, Tiff won twice on the Futures Tour — in 2010 and 2011 — before earning full LPGA status. Her consistency carried her for more than a decade on tour. She also has a reputation as the funniest person in the LPGA, with a series of hilarious song parody videos on YouTube. Learn more.

Alison Lee
Alison was an AJGA First-Team All-American for six years, from 2008 through 2013, with nine wins on the AJGA circuit. She was a member of the victorious USA Junior Solheim Cup team in 2009, 2011, and in 2013 helped lead the US to three straight victories. She was a member of the Junior Ryder Cup team in 2010 and 2012, and the Curtis Cup team in 2014. Alison turned professional in December 2014 and joined the LPGA Tour after winning the final stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament. In her rookie season, she qualified for the United States Solheim Cup team, based on her world ranking. Learn more.

Lee Lopez
Lee graduated from UCLA in 2013 (with a degree in history). She began her NCAA career at Long Beach State, where she was Big West Freshman of the Year in the 2009-10 season. After transferring to UCLA, she was part of a national championship team, was a first-team All-America selection and team MVP in 2011-12. Learn more.

Mo Martin
Mo played college golf all four years at UCLA, walking on as a freshman. She was the Bruins’ Most Valuable Player in 2002, earned UCLA academic honors, and was also a three-time Pac-10 Academic Honorable Mention selection. She turned pro in 2005, and joined the Futures Tour in 2006. in 2011, she had 11 top-10 finishes and one victory. She won the women’s British Open in 2014. Learn more.

Ryann O’Toole
Ryann competed at UCLA where she recorded 12 Top 10 finishes during her career and set the course record at Colwood Golf Club in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, with a 66. U.S. Solheim team captain Rosie Jones named her one of two captain’s picks for the 2011 Solheim Cup team. She won the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open with a 271 (−17), by three strokes over both Lydia Ko and Atthaya Thitikul. Learn more.

Louise Ridderström
Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Louise played for UCLA before competing in the Swedish national amateur teams, finishing fourth at the 2010 European Girls’ Team Championship and fifth at the 2011 European Girls Team Championship. On the 2018 Symetra Tour, she made 15 cuts in 20 starts, winning her first event at the Valley Forge Invitational and recording three additional top-10 results in the season. Learn more.

Maiya Tanaka
At age 11, Maiya shot a hole-in-one on the first hole of her very first golf tournament. From then on, she was hooked! She was selected to represent UCLA for the All-Star team that traveled to China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea in 2008. Maiya was awarded full LPGA status on the Symetra Tour in 2014. Patty Tavatanakit
Paphangkorn “Patty” Tavatanakit is a Thai professional golfer who began competing on the LPGA Tour in January 2020. In 2021, Patty achieved her first win on the LPGA Tour – the 2021 ANA Inspiration, a major championship in women’s professional golf. In October 2021, Patty was named the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year for the LPGA Tour in 2021. Learn more.

Mariajo Uribe
María José Uribe Durán hails from Colombia. She is the only player from Latin America ever to have won the U.S. Women’s Amateur, and she did it at the age of 17. She played golf at UCLA and was an All-American First Team selection in both 2008 and 2009. She qualified for LPGA and LET membership on her first attempt and went on to win the 2011 HSBC Brazil Cup.
